Dr. Ahmad Shahba is a researcher in the Pharmaceutics Department, College of Pharmacy, King Saud University. Dr. Ahmad Shahba obtained his B. Pharm from Tanta University, MSc from King Saud University, and PhD from Assiut University. His expertise includes the development of self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery systems (SNEDDS) for oral delivery, its conversion into a solid form, the fluid bed coating technique, and stability studies.
He has authored 11 ISI scientific publications. Recently, his invention has been patented by the Saudi Patent Office. He has been assigned to co-supervise the graduation projects for two undergraduate students and one Master's student. He has participated in several funded research projects with a total budget of USD 0.5 million. Most importantly, he participated in the preparation and application of several COVID-19 research projects at KSU.
