Professor at the Faculty of Food and Tourism, Transilvania University of Brașov, Romania, Department of Food Engineering and Management in Food and Tourism. She has an academic and research background in Food Product Engineering, with expertise in food quality and safety, food authentication and traceability, food technologies, emerging technologies, consumer protection, and the development and evaluation of innovative food products. Her research interests also include the valorization of food by-products and sustainable approaches in the food sector. She is involved in teaching, research, academic management, and the supervision of undergraduate, master’s and doctoral research activities.
