Prof. Dr. Sohrab Rohani is currently a researcher in the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at Western University. She previously worked as an associate professor at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). She received her Ph.D. from Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University in Iran in 2015. She worked at Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University and the University of Tehran for three years before moving to the USTC as a visiting scholar and post-doctoral researcher, working with Prof. Yuan Hu. She has authored more than 80 ISI-indexed articles in peer-reviewed international journals. She was also awarded the National Natural Science Foundation of China research fund for international young researchers, the Chinese Academy of Sciences President's International Fellowship Initiative (PIFI), and the President's Award of the Iran National Science Foundation. Her research focuses on designing novel bio-based metal–organic frameworks with high performance.
