Chihchen Chen received her dual Ph.D. degrees in Bioengineering and Nanotechnology from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA in 2006 and completed postdoctoral training at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA in 2009. Currently, she is an associate professor at the Institute of NanoEngineering and MicroSystems, Department of Power Mechanical Engineering, National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan. Her major research interest is developing micro-and nanofluidic technologies for biology and medicine, with a focus on the isolation and characterization of cellular and sub-cellular components. She has published more than 40 research articles in peer-review journals.
