Bunin Igor Zhanovich, an Russian physicist, was born in Moscow, Russia in 1961.
He graduated from Moscow Institute of Applied Physics (MIFI). Later, he worked as a scientific co-worker A.A.Baikov Institute of Metallurgy RAS. There he studied Fractal and Synergetic approach to the Physics of Solids and Fracture of Materials. His a Russian equivalent of PhD in Physics and Mathematics subjected «Structural-Synergetic Analysis of Fatigue Fracture».
Now, Dr. Bunin works in N.V. Melnikov's Institute of Comprehensive Exploitation of Mineral Resources Russian Academy of Sciences (ICEMR RAS).
His a Grand PhD doctorate thesis in Technical and Natural Sciences subjected: «Theoretical Bases of High-Power Nanosecond Pulses Action on Disintegration and Breaking-Up of Fine-disseminated Mineral Complexes and Recovery of Precious Metals from Refractory Ores». Igor Zh. Bunin studies modern theoretical and experimental physical methods of high-energy treatment of geomaterials and he studies structure and properties of fine (micro- and nano-scale) disseminated mineral complexes.
