Jhonghyun An received his B.S. degree in electrical and electronic engineering and his Ph.D. in electrical and electronic engineering from Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2013 and 2020, respectively. From 2020 to 2022, he was a senior researcher with the Agency for Defense Development, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon in the Republic of Korea. Since 2022, he has been with the faculty of the School of Computing - AI major, SW major, Gachon University, where he is currently an assistant professor. His current research interests include filtering theory, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and their application to advanced driver assistance systems, computational intelligence, laser-scanner-based recognition systems, target detection, target tracking, and unmanned ground vehicles.
