Professor Sarkyt Kudaibergenov is currently Head of the Laboratory of Engineering Profile at Satbayev University and simultaneously Director of the private institution “Institute of Polymer Materials and Technology”. He published 20 co-authored monographs in Russian, Polish and English and altogether more than 400 papers, including 11 book chapters, 18 review articles and more than 120 papers in English in peer-reviewed journals. In 2002, he published a fundamental single-author monograph “Polyampholyets: Synthesis, Characterization and Application” (Springer, 2002, 220 p.). According to the database «Web of Science, Clarivate Analytics», Prof. S. Kudaibergenov holds the leading position in the world on the subject of “Polyampholytes”. The research interests of Prof. S. Kudaibergenov cover solutions and gels of polyampholytes, macroporous and composite hydrogel materials, polymer-protected and hydrogel-immobilized metal nanoparticles, polymeric catalysis, drug delivery system, drilling fluids, pour point depressants and polymer flooding technology.
