Graduate from the doctoral study program Public Health. My areas of interest and expertise include epidemiology and public health. Especially I focus on the issue of the physical risk factors (such as dust, noise, vibration, etc.) and their effect on health in human and occupational environment. I also focus on other epidemiologic issues such as epidemiology of neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer's Disease and Mild Cognitive Disorder), diagnostic methods of lower extremities arterial disease (especially ankle brachial index) and other related topics. I work as a researcher in Centre for Epidemiological Research Faculty of Medicine University of Ostrava, where one of the main topics I deal with is exposure to air pollutants. In this field I work on projects such as excellent research „the HAIE - Healthy Aging in Industrial Environment project“. This project, which aims to establish longitudinal cohorts, addresses the assessment of the effects of selected environmental and lifestyle risk factors on the health and aging of the population in the industrial region and beyond. I also work as assistant professor in Faculty of Health Sciences of Palacký University Olomouc, where I have already participated in a number of epidemiological studies mainly in a field of neurodegenerative diseases.
