Patrícia M. Reis is an Auxiliary Investigator at the LAQV-REQUIMTE, Chemistry Department of Faculdade de Ciências Tecnológicas, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, Caparica, Portugal. She was a Member of the team in three projects from FCT, PTDC/EQU-EQU/32050/2017, PTDC/BTA-BTA/31106/2017, and PTDC/FIS-MAC/28157/2017, essentially because of my expertise in the synthesis of ionic liquids. One of the principal aims was to synthesize new and biocompatible ionic liquids (ILs) that dissolve poorly water soluble drugs and use ILs as co-solvents (excipients).
