Prof. Pei-Jie Meng received M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Institute of Oceanography at National Taiwan University in 1991 and 1998. He is a Professor and Vice Dean of the School of Marine Sciences at National Dong Hwa University. He is a Member of the Taiwan Sea Area Protection and Monitoring Association and the 12th Board Member of the Natural Ecological Conservation Association of the Republic of China. His research interests mainly focus on marine environmental chemistry, marine analytical chemistry, marine ecological environments, and marine pollution.
