Prof. Dr. Kosmas Sarafidis is a professor of Pediatrics–Neonatology at the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in Greece. He trained in pediatrics and neonatology in Greek hospitals. Since 2019, he has been the director of the first department of Neonatology and NICU of the AUTH. His scientific interest is focused on respiratory disorders—mechanical ventilation, neonatal infections, and metabolomics. He has published more than 90 articles in international peer-reviewed journals.
