Vytautas Mickevičius is a Professor in the Department of Organic Chemistry, Kaunas University of Technology. Their primary fields of interest are N-arylsubstituted amino acids and their cyclidation to the nitrogen-containing heterocycles, as well as the synthesis, isolation and investigation of biologically active compounds.
