Prof. Dr. Wei Sun is currently the vice dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Gansu Agricultural University. He received his bachelor's degree in engineering, master's degree in engineering, and doctorate in agronomy from Gansu Agricultural University in 2003, 2006, and 2015, respectively. Prof. Dr. Wei Sun is mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research in agricultural mechanization. He has won two second prizes in Gansu Province Teaching Achievement, one Gansu Province Patent Inventor Award; one second prize in National Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fishery Harvest; and one second prize in Gansu Province Patent Award, etc. In addition, he has published more than 40 papers as the sole author and corresponding author, of which more than 30 are included in SCI and EI. He has obtained 17 national invention patents as the first inventor and participated in the writing of four books. Prof. Dr. Wei Sun was awarded the title of "Shennong Youth Talent" of the National Major Talent Program, appointed as a Distinguished Professor of Feitian Scholars of Gansu Province, and selected as a second-level leading talent in Gansu Province.
