In this study, the impacts of educational judo practices on motor abilities of judo performing 7–12 years aged children have been studied. Experimental and control groups have been started with n=40 judoka number for the study. and the study has been completed with n=38 judoka number for the experimental gruop and n=31 judoka (Note 1) number for the control groups. This study was run during the twelve months. At the begining and end of this work, anthropometric measures of the experimental group and control group and application of static and dinamic balances, coordinations, celerities, long jumping, ball launching, claw-back forces, speed tests have been applied and pre-test and re-test results have been taken. After the reorder and grouping of mesaurement parameters and introduction forms, all the data has been scoped out on SPSS for Windows (ver. 14). Arithmetic average and standard deviation of parameters have been analyzed. According to the data acquired from the research comparison between pre-test and re-test of the experimental gruop, comparison between pre-test and re-test of the control group, comparison between the pre-tests of the experimental and control groups, comparison between the re-tests of the experimental and control groups, comparison between the pre-tests of the experimental and control groups and one-sided variant analysis of re-tests of the experimental and control groups have been realized. Between the parameters of Test and Control groups, p<0.05 and p<0.01 level differences are tried to be detected. Finally, male judokas of the experimental group’s static balance, celerity, claw force and back power parameters has been found different at p<0.05 level and quite at p<0.01 quite different when compared to control group and these educational Judo games are highly contributive to the development motor skills. Female judokas of the experimental group’s static balance, celerity, claw force and back power parameters has been found different at p<0.05 level and quite at p<0.01 quite different when compared to control group and these educational Judo games are highly contributive to the development motor skills. As a result of this study we can say that static and dynamic balance, quickness, hand grip and back strength, coordination, speed parameters of the male and female judokas’ have developed. Considering these parameters usage of Judo educational games, which are accelerating the development of basic motor skills of 7-12 years aged children,in courses by arrangement can be suggested.

Introduction: It is widely acknowledged that coaches and physical education teachers play an important role in supporting holistic development in children and ensuring optimal performance in the training processes carried out to acquire fundamental movements and sport-specific basic skills. However, there is a need for further information on how both groups utilize and value different teaching methods during the training. The present study aims to examine the perceptions of coaches and physical education teachers regarding the use and value of teaching methods. Methods: The “Coaches’ Instructional Methods Utilization Scale” for coaches and the “Physical Education Teachers’ Perception of Teaching Methods Scale” for physical education teachers were administered to 114 coaches and 115 physical education teachers voluntarily participating from three randomly selected provinces of Türkiye. The Cronbach Alpha values ranged between .89 and .93 for the “Coaches’ Instructional Methods Utilization Scale” and between .90 and .96 for the “Physical Education Teachers’ Perception of Teaching Methods Scale”. Descriptive statistics were used in research, t-tests in binary comparisons, One-Way ANOVA in multiple comparisons, and Tukey's test in determining the source of differences. Results: Similarities were observed in the most and least used methods by coaches and physical education teachers, as well as in their perceptions of the highest and lowest values for these methods. Additionally, coaches and physical education teachers exhibited similarities in their perceptions of value in terms of entertainment, learning, and motivation. It was observed that female physical education teachers had lower value perceptions among the levels of use of teaching methods and value perceptions according to gender. Comparing the usage levels and value perceptions of teaching methods by professional experience, significant differences were found in Exercise (B), Learner-Designed Individual Program (I), and Learner-initiated (J) methods for coaches, whereas no statistically significant difference was observed in value perceptions. Moreover, considering the physical education teachers, significant differences were found in Command (A), Self-Check (D), Guided Discovery (F), Problem-Solving: Single Solution (G) methods, and in value perceptions for the Exercise (B), Guided Discovery (F), Problem-Solving: Single Solution (G), Problem-Solving: Crating Different Paths (H), and Learner-initiated (J) values.

Early childhood is known as a critical period in acquisition of development and basic mobility skills. In this period, physical education and judo education contribute to development of general body, hand-eye and foot-eye coordination, 5 motor skills, static and dynamic balance. Moreover, the sub-structure of lifelong sport habits is being prepared by teaching values with respect to judo, kindness, self-determination, solidarity, honesty, friendship, patience, courage and modesty. As a result, due to basic education of judo such as 'Ukemi, Tachi Waza and Newaza Basic Drills', children learn much more than movement skills. In this study, importance of physical education and judo activities in pre-school period has been considered in practice. The results showed Judo has an impact on pre-service and in-service training in practice of pre-school physical education and judo activities. It is inevitable that these activities contribute to almost all targeted development areas of a child, in addition to contributing to training of large group of children in first phase of long-term athlete development model in our country.

Purpose: The present study aims to investigate the effect of anthropometric and strength parameters on the likelihood of competitive success in female cadet judo athletes. Methods: Measurements, including body height (cm), body mass (kg), BMI (kg/m2), sitting height (cm), arm span (cm), measured hand grip strength, and dynamic-derived grip strength, were performed for 64 female judo athletes who were placed in the top 8 of the cadet national championships. The judo athletes were divided into two groups (medalist and non-medalist) for analysis. Results: The mean values of height and arm span for judo athletes who won medals were found to be significantly different when compared to those who did not (p < 0.05). However, no significant difference was found in measured or derived-dynamic hand grip strength (p > 0.05). Conclusion: Hand grip strength, BMI, and sitting height parameters may not be indicative of medal-winning performance in female cadet judo athletes. The higher values of height and arm span in judo athletes who won medals, among those who did not, indicate that upper body anthropometrics may be associated with competition outcomes.

A high level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills in visually impaired female national judo team athletes is an important factor in increasing their performance and for their high performance. The aim of this study was to examine critical thinking and problem-solving skills of visually impaired female national judo team athletes. The sample of the study was composed of visually impaired female athletes (n=15) in 2015 national team. A Personal Information Form, the California Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory and the Problem Solving Inventory were used as data collection tools. The data obtained in this study were analyzed using SPSS 17 software. Evaluation of the data analysis revealed that there was no statistically significant difference among groups in total Problem Solving Inventory and Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory scores in terms of age group or age of starting judo (p>0.05). There was no statistically significant relationship between total problem-solving and total critical thinking disposition scores of athletes (p>0.05). As a result, judo coaches are thought to play an important role in the development of strategies for increasing athletes’ problem-solving and critical thinking skills and in the development of their sporting performance, particularly in the development of high performance.
