Marco Diociaiuti is a physicist working in the field of the science of matter. His interest is in the physics of atomic, molecular and supramolecular aggregates, an intermediate phase between atoms and solid-state matter. Now, he studies lipids and proteins. To this aim, he developed innovative structural techniques carried out by means of electron microscopy and spectroscopy and optical spectroscopy (CD and SPR), along with methodologies for the thermodynamic investigation of monomolecular Langmuir films.
