Biography
Angel León-Buitimea received his M. S. (2008) and Ph. D. (2012) degrees in Pharmacy from the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos (Mexico). In 2018, he joined the Nano-Biotechnology Research Group at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (Mexico) as a postdoctoral researcher working with Dr. José Rubén Morones-Ramírez. His research interests include the development and design of new therapeutic strategies (e.g., transition metals, metal nanoparticles, antimicrobial peptides, and nanobiocomposites) for the treatment of infections caused by antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
