Dr. Sara Giannoni received her medical degree from the University of Pisa in 2015 and completed a residency training program at the same university in 2020. Currently, she is a specialist in Neurology at the San Giuseppe Hospital of Empoli (FI). Her practice focuses on the management of a wide range of neurologic disorders with particular interest in Parkinson’s disease and atypical parkinsonisms. Her main interests concern movement disorders and dementia. She has collaborated in many clinical trials on Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease as a sub-investigator. She is a member of the Italian Society of Neurology (SIN), the Italian Academy for the Study of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders (LIMPE DISMOV), and the Italian Society of Neurosonology and Cerebral Hemodynamic (SINSEC).
