TANKUT ACARMAN (M’06) received his Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA, in 2002. He is a professor in the computer engineering department, Galatasaray University, Turkiye; he was the head of the department between 2015 and 2022. He is the co-author of a book titled Autonomous Ground Vehicles, published in 2011. He serves as a Senior Editor for IEEE Transactions On Intelligent Vehicles. His research interests include all aspects of automated and intelligent systems, information security, and automated and connected driving systems.
