I am a first year microbiology master student at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena in Germany. I studied my bachelor's in Biology at Yachay Tech University in Ecuador, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. I did my bachelors' thesis at the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine in Hamburg, Germany. My thesis work was about the expression and purification of the Lassa virus' cap-snatching endonucleases. I have also worked in Chile at Universidad de Concepcion, where I did a research stay.
