CÉSAR VEIGA received M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in physics from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, in 1993 and 1998, respectively. He is a Senior Researcher at the Galicia Sur Health Research Institute (IIS Galicia Sur), Vigo, Spain. He has carried out research on biomedical engineering at the Institute for Systems Informatics and Safety, Italy, the Galician Supercomputing Center (CESGA), and some private companies. His research interests include processing tools and algorithms for the analysis of biomedical signals and their application to cardiology.
