Gulzhan Daumova, Professor at the School of Earth Sciences, D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University. She holds a higher education degree from D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University, graduating in 1999 with a specialization in Water Supply, Wastewater Disposal, and Water Resources Protection. She holds the academic degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences and the academic title of Associate Professor in the field of Chemical Technology. Her scientific interests include: Chemical engineering, chemical technology, waste utilization, processing of technogenic raw materials, water treatment, and related areas. She was awarded the national title “Best University Teacher of the Year – 2021” by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She also serves as a peer reviewer for scientific journals indexed in the Web of Science database, including Clean Technologies and Environmental Policy, Journal of Environmental Science and Health, and Atmosphere.
