Daniel Chemisana is a Full Professor of Applied Physics at the Polytechnic School of the University of Lleida, where he leads the Dynamic Systems Applied to Solar Energy SGR research group (Research Groups Support program of the Catalan Government). In 2009 he received a European PhD degree in the field of Building Integrated Concentrating Photovoltaics from the Applied Physics Section of the Environmental Science Department of the University of Lleida. His research interests include optics for solar energy applications, solar concentration, photovoltaics, concentrating photovoltaics, and photovoltaic-thermal solar collectors.
