Prof. Wensuo Jia received his master’s degree from Beijing Forestry University in 1985–1988. In 1991–1994, he received a Ph.D. from China Agricultural University. From 1996 to 2002, he was an associate professor at China Agricultural University. From 2002 to the present, he has been a professor at China Agricultural University. His main research interest is to reveal the molecular basis of fruit quality formation from the perspective of cell signal transduction, focusing on strawberries and apples as materials to deeply analyze the signaling molecules, signaling pathways, and signaling networks involved in the formation and ripening regulation of fruit quality.
