Haisheng Yang Ph.D. is Professor/Director of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Environment and Life, Beijing University of Technology, China. His research areas are: Biomechanics and its medical applications; CT- or MRI-based osteoporotic fracture risk assessment (hip and spine); robot-guided surgical planning; Mechanobiology of bone adaptation and regeneration; mechano-regulatory mechanisms of bone formation and regeneration; and treatment strategies of osteoporotic or disuse-related bone loss and fracture healing.
