Dr. Younes Smani finished his training in Hematology and Physiology as a PhD student at the University of Nancy in France in 2006. He then moved to Spain to start a postdoc in the Infectious Diseases Lab led by Dr. Jerónimo Pachón. Currently, Younes Smani is the Group Leader in “Bacterial infections” at the Andalusian Centre of Developmental Biology (CABD), Pablo de Olavide University. Younes Smani does research in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and Cell Biology. He has published more than 80 papers including chapters in books. He is a scientific editor and reviewer for several reputed journals.
