Dr. Abdullah Shah did M.Sc. in Mathematics, M.S. in Applied Mathematics and PhD. in Computational Mathematics from Institute of Computational Mathematics, Scientific/engineering Computing (ICMSEC), Chinese Academy of Sciences. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor at the Mathematics Department, COMSATS University Islamabad. His research interests span Applied & Computational Mathematics, Modeling & Simulations, and Computational Fluid Dynamics. He is the author of several research papers, which are published in reputed journals and proceedings of international conferences. His research approach emphasizes the need for interaction between modeling, analysis, scientific computing, and applications. Also, he is the recipient of prestigious Erasmus Mundus (EMMA) postdoctoral fellowship at Interdisciplinary Center for Scientific Computing (IWR), University of Heidelberg, Germany, in 2014, "TWAS-UNESCO Associate" (2013-2016), CAS President's International Fellowship Initiative " PIFI-Visiting Scientist" (2018-2019) at ICMSEC, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Research Ambassador for university of Heidelberg, Germany and Faculty Advisor for SIAM CUI student chapter. He is HEC approved supervisor in mathematics and supervising BS, MS and PhD. students.
