Dr. Eshetu Janka earned a PhD in Greenhouse Technology from Aarhus University in 2014 and an MS in Plant Science from Wageningen University & Research in 2006. He currently serves as a researcher and lecturer at the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN). He teaches courses “Water Treatment and Environmental Biotechnology” for a master's program in Energy and Environmental Technology. His research projects mainly focus on the biological treatment of wastewater and water contaminants as well as the recovery of resources from wastewater (such as clean water, energy, and fertilizer).
