Fernando Ruiz Mazarrón. Current position: Associate Professor; Agroforestry Engineering Department; Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Agronómica, Alimentaria y de Biosistemas, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Education background: Agricultural engineer (UPM, 2006); Bachelor of Food Science and Technology (UPM; 2009); PhD (UPM; 2010). Work experience: More than 1500 hours of teaching electrical engineering, electronics, energy supply, electrical installations, and renewable energies. His research activity has developed since 2007 and focuses on improving the energy efficiency of agro-industries, through construction, energy supply, and renewable energies. He participated in eight research projects, including two European projects on energy efficiency in agro-industries and three National R&D projects on energy-efficient winery construction
