Dr. Antonio Gattuso is a research technologist for the scientific disciplinary sector AGR/15 "Food Sciences and Technologies" in the Department of Agraria of the Mediterrane University of Reggio Calabria. He earned, from the University of Reggio Calabria, a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technologies cum laude in 2019 and a PhD in in Food Science and Technologies cum laude in 2024. In 2023 he was a Visiting PhD student at the “Agro-Food Technology Department of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (Spain)”. His main research areas of interest are: food technologies, food processes, by-product valorization, antioxidants, citrus and olive sectors.
