Yee-Kit Chan received his B.Eng (Hons) in electrical engineering from the University of Malaya in 1998. He obtained his MEngSc and PhD in microwave engineering from Multimedia University (MMU), Malaysia in 2002 and 2010, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor and Deputy Dean (Research & Innovation) in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, MMU Malaysia. He was awarded senior membership in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2006. He has been a registered professional engineer with the Board of Engineers of Malaysia since 2010. He is also a corporate member of Institute of Engineers of Malaysia, a professional member of the Institution of Geospatial and Remote Sensing of Malaysia, as well as a professional technologist for the Malaysia Board of Technologists. His research interests include synthetic aperture radar design, microwave remote sensing, radar sensor development and RF system design. He was named Top Research Scientist in Malaysia in 2021 by the Academy of Sciences of Malaysia.
