Dr. Wu LI is a professor at the China University of Mining & Technology. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in resource exploration from China University of Mining & Technology and a PhD degree in geological resources and geological engineering from China University of Mining & Technology (Master and Doctoral Program). He won the Jiangsu Province Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award in 2016 and was jointly trained for one year at the University of Queensland, Australia. He is also a member of the International Society of Organic Petrology, a member of the China Coal Society, and a member of the Chinese Society of Mineralogy, Petrology, and Geochemistry. His research interests include coalbed methane, coal rank, and outburst.
