De-Yi Wang received his PhD from Sichuan University in 2007. He is currently working as the senior researcher and head of a research group (High-Performance Polymer Nanocomposites Group) at the IMDEA Materials Institute. He worked as an associate professor at Sichuan University from 2007 to 2010. He focuses on the study of application-oriented problems and novel technologies in fire-retardant materials, high-performance polymers, and nanocomposite and bio-based polymers, including innovative chemistry to synthesis and advanced processing. His scientific output includes 321 publications, corresponding to 12,617 citations (h-index 65) (Scopus, 18 October 2023).
