Konstantinos Tsagarakis is a Principal Researcher at the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research, Institute of Marine Biological Resources and Inland Waters. He obtained an MSc in Environmental Biology—Marine Biological Resources (2003–2005) and a PhD in Marine Biological Resources from the Department of Biology, School of Sciences and Engineering, University of Crete (2006–2011). His research interests include Ecosystem modeling, Fisheries ecology, Fisheries discards, Hydroacoustics, Distribution and behavior of small pelagic and mesopelagic fish, and Fisheries impacts. He has acted as a coordinator, HCMR scientific responsible, Task/WP leader, or participant in several national and international projects on these topics.
