Harald Mangge is a Medical Doctor and Professor at the Department of Laboratory Medicine of the Medical University of Graz, Austria. His research focuses on cardiovascular, metabolic, and oncologic diseases with an emphasis on immune-mediated inflammation. In the framework of the STYJOBS/EDECTA cohort project, Harald Mangge conducted a large prospective, observational study to improve the understanding of metabolic, inflammatory, and cardiovascular risk in obesity (http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT00482924). Further, Harald Mangge holds the position of First Deputy Head of the Clinical Institute of Medical and Chemical Laboratory Diagnosis (CIMCL).
