Biography

Dr. Oleksandr Boiko received his B.Sc. degree from Sumy State University (Sumy, Ukraine) in 2011 and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in 2013 and 2019, respectively, from the Lublin University of Technology (Lublin, Poland). He is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Electrotechnologies of the Lublin University of Technology. His major research areas include the investigation of the electromagnetic properties of metal-dielectric thin layers, as well as polarization mechanisms in nano dielectrics and ferroelectrics. He is also interested in the mechanism of high-temperature superconductivity in thin films. His didactic activity, among others, includes classes on electrotechnology, where he discusses with students the latest reports on plasma technologies, nanotechnology, superconductive materials and their applications, and other advanced aspects of electrotechnology. In 2021, he extended his research area to the investigation of non-thermal plasma reactors and their power supply systems, as well as their applications in different fields of science and technology.
