Roseane Maria Ribeiro-Costa is currently Associate Professor II working in research, teaching, and extension at the Federal University of Pará, where she is coordinator of the Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology (NANOFARM). She graduated with a Full Degree in Chemistry from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (1999) and earned a Master's degree in 2003. She is the local coordinator of the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Innovation, Network Program, at the PhD Level. Experience: innovative technology in the production of new medicines and cosmetics, employing vegetable oils and fats from the Amazon region; controlled drug and vaccine delivery systems; use of agro-industrial coproducts; technological development of herbal medicines; standardization of plant extracts; and development of HPLC dosage methods.
