Tao Zhu is a PhD, associate professor, and master supervisor. He obtained a bachelor's degree and a doctorate degree in computer science and technology from Central South University and University of Science and Technology of China. He used to be a big-data algorithm design engineer in a line Internet company, a teacher, and postdoctoral fellow at the University of Science and Technology Beijing. He lectures on big-data technology (Hadoop, Spark, etc.), big data and deep learning, and cloud computing technology. He has also published more than 30 academic papers. He has served as a member of technical committees of international academic conferences and guest editors of journals on many occasions. His research interests include intelligent perception, computational intelligence, Internet of Things, big data, and artificial intelligence technology in the field of health. He has presided over or participated in a number of national-, provincial-, and ministerial-level teaching and scientific research projects, and he won the second prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award.
