Tanya Fouché is a senior lecturer in Environmental sciences. She holds a Masters degree in Environmental Sciences and is currently completing her PhD in Soil Ecotoxicology. Her research focuses on investigating the impact of organic and inorganic pollutants in the soil ecosystem in terms of the ecotoxicological and genotoxic effects on beneficial soil organisms that provide ecosystem services. Other research interests include ecological remediation and rehabilitation.
