Bidhan Pandit is currently a Marie Curie CONEX-Plus researcher at the University Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), Madrid, Spain. He received his Ph.D. degree (2019) in physics from the Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (India) and joined the Institut Charles Gerhardt Montpellier (ICGM), Université de Montpellier (France) as CNRS Postdoctoral Research Fellow. His previous scientific interests focused on the synthesis of nanostructures and the fabrication of flexible devices for supercapacitor applications. His current research focus includes the synthesis of cathode materials for lithium, sodium, and potassium ion batteries, as well as in situ/operando X-ray-based characterizations for the understanding of battery mechanisms.
