Reza Abdolvand received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2008. He is currently a Professor and Chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL. His research focuses on Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS), including microfabrication, micro-resonators, MEMS oscillators, and resonant sensors. His work has yielded over 125 refereed publications and 15 US patents. Dr. Abdolvand is a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors (Class of 2025) and a Senior Member of IEEE.
