Dr. Paras Jain is an Associate Professor Grade 1 in the School of Computing Science Engineering and Artificial Intellignece (SCAI) at VIT Bhopal University, India. He is also heading the Office of Academics in the role of Associate Dean Academics. He was awarded with Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering from Jaypee University of Engineering andTechnology (JUET), Guna in the year 2015. He completed his B.E and M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal in the year 2005 and 2010, respectively. Dr. Jain carries more than 16 years of academic experience including 9 years of post PhD experience. During his academic career, he has held various administrative positions such as the School Timetable Coordinator, Examination coordinator, etc. Dr. Jain has authored 3 books with titles "Design and Analysis of Algorithms - Step by Step Tutorial", "The Python Coding Book" and "Exploring Artificial Intelligence - Fundamental Concepts". He has published several research papers in international journals and conferences of repute with 10 SCI/SCIE Indexed journals and 8 SCOPUS Indexed journal/conference publications. He has two International level and two National level patents on his credits. e is an active resercher in the fileds of Image Processing, Data Mining, Machine Learning, and Pattern recognition. His subject expertise includes Digital Image Processing, Theory of Computation, Compiler Design, Data Structures, etc.
