Vasily Vasilievich Stavchansky, enrolled in the full-time postgraduate studies at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2003 after graduating from the Russian State Medical University. Dr. Stavchansky studies the molecular mechanisms of damage that occur when blood flow in the brain decreases.
