Dr. Xu Zhang is a research fellow at the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University. He completed his PhD studies in Epidemiology & Biostatistics at the Anhui Medical University and Visiting scholar & University Associate at University of Tasmania. He has been awarded "Outstanding Overseas Talent in Anhui Province", “High-level Talent in Hefei City”, and "Rising Star of Fuyuan Science and Technology of Anhui Medical University". He recently led the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Anhui Province, and the Postdoctoral Research Foundation of China. He has published more than 50 papers in various journals, and serves as a supervisor for postgraduate students, as well as for Expert of Anhui Science and technology database. His teaching disciplines include Epidemiology and Biostatistics, and his interests include the role of non-coding RNAs in alcoholic liver disease, the construction and clinical application of statistical analysis models, and evidence-based medicine.
