Andrea Kellenberger is associate professor at University Politehnica Timisoara, Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Biotechnologies and Environmental Protection since 2008. She received her PhD degree in Chemical Engineering in 2004 and, in 2017 defended her Habilitation Thesis on "Processes and Materials in Electrochemical Energy Systems". Her research focuses on applied electrochemistry, with key interest in the electrocatalysis of the hydrogen evolution reaction, corrosion studies of PEMWE materials and the development of alternative materials for bipolar plate construction. She is a member of the International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE) and the Romanian Chemical Society (SChR).
