My research focuses on emerging environmental and food contaminants and their potential adverse effects on human, animal, and ecosystem health from a One Health perspective. I work on food safety and public health, with emphasis on food and environmental toxicology, using analytical-toxicological techniques to detect contaminants and assess toxicity in vivo and in vitro, as well as veterinary clinical toxicology on xenobiotics in animals.
