Dr. Gianluca Terrin is a Professor at the Department of Mother and Child at Sapienza University in Rome. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery with honors, obtained a Master's degree, and was a fellow at the University of Naples Federico II. From 2007 to 2010, during his PhD in Human Reproduction, Development, and Growth at the University of Naples Federico II, he developed research in the field of pediatric gastroenterology, neonatology, and nutrition. He obtained his PhD in 2010. From 2009 to 2010, he was a Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Naples Federico II. Since 2010, he has been a Medical Researcher at the Department of Pediatrics and Child Neuropsychiatry of the University of Rome La Sapienza. His research interests include Neonatal Intensive Care Units, Neonatal Resuscitation, Neonatal Sepsis, Infant Nutrition, Sepsis, Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Clinical Trials in Pediatrics, Neonatal Intensive Care, Neonates, and Prematurity.
