Waldemar Kociuba is a geographer and geoscientist with research interests in contemporary spatial and temporal river valley development and in the analysis of the geomorphic responses to rapid climatic and environmental changes. He focuses thematically on fluvial geomorphology and the application of remote sensing (LiDAR, photogrammetry) to differential (DoD) surface change analysis. He focuses geographically on the polar regions (Svalbard) and central Europe.
