Artyom Y. Baev received his BSc in Biology (2010), MSc in Biophysics (2012) and PhD in Biophysics (2017) from the National University of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He is currently a Senior Scientist at the Laboratory of Experimental Biophysics, Centre for Advanced Technologies, Tashkent, Uzbekistan and an Associate Professor at the National University of Uzbekistan. His expertise is in the fields of inorganic polyphosphate (PolyP) biology in mammalian cells, bioenergetics, mitochondria, signal transduction, cell signaling and neurodegeneration.
