Dr. Marko Bašković is a highly accomplished Pediatric Surgeon at the Children's Hospital Zagreb and an Assistant Professor at the Catholic University of Croatia. He graduated from the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb, in 2014 and made history in 2019 as the first person in Croatia to earn a University Master’s Degree in Pediatric Surgery before completing his Ph.D. in the same major in 2021. His research and clinical practice are extensively focused on pediatric urology, abdominal surgery, and neonatal surgical interventions, and his contributions to the field were formally recognized in 2023 when he was elected as a full member of the Croatian Academy of Medical Sciences.
