Prof. Talib is a professor of cancer biology and immunology. His research is focused on integrative cancer therapies, anticancer nutrition, drug resistance in cancer, testing anticancer agents from natural products, and exploring the relationship between cancer and diabetes. He is currently engaged in a project to test different phytochemicals to design anticancer functional food to augment conventional therapies. Prof. Talib has supervised many postgraduate students in the field of cancer biology and immunotherapy. The aim of his research is to expand and use evidence-based research on complementary and alternative medicines to develop effective and affordable anticancer and immunomodulatory therapies.
